Rose
Roses are among the oldest cultivated flowers known to humankind. Modern roses are hybrids developed from two or more of several Asian rose species. Each type of rose plant has characteristics that suit it for specific landscape use in a residential yard and garden.

Bush roses are the most familiar of the various types of rose, valued primarily for their stunning blooms. Winter hardiness refers to how well a rose plant can survive low temperatures or recuperate from damage inflicted by low temperatures alternating with thaws.
