Using Goldenchain Tree
The Goldenchain tree makes a lovely specimen in small yards, especially if you have a spot that can use some bright color in late spring and early summer. To add to its flexibility this tree can be trained to grow over an arbor, pergola or other structure.

Using Trumpet Creeper
Use vines to filter light, insulate sites exposed to wind and screen for privacy. This vine is also good on slopes to hold the soil and eliminate the need to sow or mow grass.

Using Chinese Wisteria
A dead tree makes a good support, but never allow wisteria to grow on a live tree. Container Gardening: Trained as a small tree, wisteria can also be grown in a large container (2 feet wide by 2 feet deep) to lend an elegant touch to small gardens, porches, balconies or patios.

Using Virginia Creeper
This vine is an ideal choice for either a low-maintenance groundcover or climbing vine. The tiny rootlets which fasten the vine stems to the supporting surface often leave stains or marks when the vine is pruned back or removed.

Using Japanese Wisteria
Japanese wisterias are at their best when trained to climb large, sturdy structures such as porch roofs, arbors or walls. Pruned and trained to a single stem, wisteria vines can be turned into weeping trees.
