Want Color? Consider Planting Nandina Shrubs in Your Tennessee Garden
Consider planting one of the many lovely varieties of nandina in your Tennessee garden. Compact nandina varieties grow 4 to 5 feet while other varieties grow 6 to 8 feet.

Planting Delphinium
Plant delphinium seedlings from the nursery or garden center in late spring, May or June. If possible, loosen the soil 1-foot deep when preparing the bed for planting. There are a number of products at the garden center that will help your newly planted or transplanted plants deal better with the stress inherent in the planting process.

This broadleaf, evergreen shrub grows from about 15 to 30 feet high and about 10 to 12 feet wide. Nellie R. Stevens Holly will grow best when planted in partial to full sun and can tolerate moderate to dry conditions.
