Anyone have an idea on how to locate 8-10 Lonicera Royal carpet shrubs. I am in the Seattle area and not having any luck locating. Have you asked your local garden center to acquire them for you?

We are redoing our plantings and should like to add one or more FEMALE plants (wax-berry bearing) of the same or a related species. They will special order what you need if they don't have it in stock.

Thuja nana
Although it is the kind of conifer that wouldn't at first glance seem like a plant that would grow in Hawaii, it is hardy / tolerant to zone 12 and somebody should have it.

Interesting taste,it was introduced to the UK in the 1860's, and has languished as a Rodney Dangerfield type for many years.It was not until the 1990's that Toona sinensis was given a common name, Chinese Mahogany.The leaves are used for food in China,being harvested just after they push out.Given the amount of nurseries located in TN,I would contact a reputable garden center which has ties to the wholesale trade in the state.I would venture there is somebody who is growing them.

I am thinking of planting a Aesculus Carnea Ft McNair, however, a friend told me they are very messy trees in the fall because of the volume of nuts/fruits produced.

Spider mites feed with piercing mouth parts, which cause plants to appear yellow and stippled. Spider mites can multiply quickly, as a female can lay up to 200 eggs in a life span of 30 days.
