How do I prune a serissa foetida??
Help! I have quite a few of these serissa foetidas in my front beds that were planted in the spring of last year by a company we hired to redo out front yard.

The most common problem we encountered with tools of similar design and function was the weakness where the handle joined the blade. Using Lambs Ears
Lamb's Ears make excellent ground covers or foliage accents on the edges of sunny perennial borders. Allow these plants to spread and spill over walls or on to paths for a pleasant effect.

Using Deadnettle
The light cream or silver markings on deadnettle foliage add brightness to shade gardens and the edges of shrub and flower borders. As groundcovers these plants fill in shady spots where many other plants will not grow.

Using Dahlias
Dwarf types are ideal for the front of perennial borders or as edging plants to soften the transition from drive or walk to yard. Use late summer bloomers to fill in spots abandoned by earlier blooming perennials.

Using Catmint In Landscape
Use hybrid catmint in the yard as a groundcover, an edging along sunny flower borders and walkways, or in rock gardens. Its bluish-lavender flowers and gray green foliage effectively set off warm colored flowers, especially pinks and yellows.
